Textile & Composite Industries Pty Ltd (TCI) has developed proven and patented new processing methods for industrial hemp decortication, fibre extraction and conversion of raw hemp materials.

This new technology produces consistent bast fibres with qualities never before seen. This in turn opens up new markets for hemp. Not only can it be processed using cotton and wool machinery, due to its inherent strengths, it can also be used to replace carbon, glass and a range of other fibres that are currently used in technical textiles.

TCI is now commercialising its end-to-end fibre extraction and degumming systems for textile production, and processes for using all the wonderful hemp raw materials in the thousands of ways possible. More detailed information is contained in our White Paper, that is available on request.
